Product Details

Every band of a JOBST® FarrowWrap® garment must be applied with moderate stretch. A consistent amount of tension throughout the garment helps ensure graduated compression.

The elastic short-stretch fabrics provide sustained resting compression while augmenting the calf-muscle pump to deliver high-working compression.

How does a JOBST® FarrowWrap® achieve compression?

Utilising special fabrics

Manufactured with smart elastic short-stretch bands comprised of multi-layered fabrics

Amount of band overlap from bottom to top

Optimal width of bands

Benefits

The simple VELCRO® system’s easy use saves therapists and patients time and supports easy donning and doffing for maximum patient independence.

The product is adjustable, so patients can more easily control fluctuating swelling levels, empowering them to maintain their care.

Lite (Class 2 - 20-30 mmHg) – Image 1

A double laminated fabric suitable for mild to moderate compression needs, making it especially ideal for soothing and paediatric patients. The fabric is both durable and breathable.

Conforms to limb shape

It is a good choice for patients who have neuropathy or peripheral vascular disease (PVD)

Recommended for paediatric patients

Suitable for sensitive skin and, as such, palliative care patients

Machine washable and can be tumble-dried on low heat

Strong (Class 3 - 30-40 mmHg) – Image 1

Premium fabric with strong compression and a soft inner layer is suitable for patients with good limb shape and moderate to severe swelling.

Less rigid than the CLASSIC

Contoured bands conform to the limb and resist sliding

Highly breathable and durable

Suitable for minor skin folds and distortion

Material less likely to pill or fray

Machine washable and can be tumble-dried on low heat

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I measure for JOBST compression stockings?
Measure your ankle circumference at the narrowest point, your calf at the widest point, and your leg length from the floor to the bend of your knee (for knee-high) or to your groin (for thigh-high). Measure first thing in the morning before any swelling occurs.
Can I claim compression stockings on my health insurance?
Yes! Most Australian private health funds cover medical-grade compression stockings under their Extras/Ancillary benefits. We provide tax invoices with all orders suitable for health fund claims.
What compression class do I need?
Class 1 (15-21mmHg): Tired, heavy legs, travel. Class 2 (23-32mmHg): Moderate varicose veins, post-DVT, post-surgery. Class 3 (34-46mmHg): Severe venous insufficiency. Always consult your healthcare provider.
How long do compression stockings last?
Medical-grade stockings typically last 4-6 months with daily wear. We recommend having 2 pairs to rotate daily.
